Welcome to NHHBC! We are so glad you’re on our website, and we hope to meet you soon.
The How, What, When, Where, and Why of NHHBC
(not necessarily in that order)
What kind of church is NHHBC?
We are an independent, evangelical church body, in the Baptist tradition. We are committed to the belief in a triune God, that Jesus Christ is the son of God and is himself God, and that the bible is the inerrant word of God.
How is NHHBC different than other churches?
Many churches today have adopted a modern “business” mindset. They recruit pastors who are more focused on being motivational speakers than on teaching the word of God. Their services are heavily produced musical concerts with recruited and well paid musical talent. Instead of discipleship of new believers, they organize small groups that often turn into social circles.
At NHHBC:
- Our Pastors teach God’s word directly from the Bible.
- Our Worship Leaders focus on leading God’s people in meaningful, congregational worship of our Lord.
- Our Sunday Schools are focused on teaching believers new and old how to live according to God’s commands as given in the Bible.
- We encourage fellowship among our whole church body across all the generations.
Where is NHHBC?
Our church campus is located at 6193 Taylorsville Road, Huber Heights, Ohio 45373
NHHBC has been located in the Huber Heights community for over 50 years, located on Taylorsville Road halfway between Brandt Pike (201) and Old Troy Pick (202). One of the distinct things about our church is that we’re an all-generations community. There’s a place for you here, and we look forward to seeing you soon.
When are your services?
We have two worship services on Sunday. The morning service is a blended-modern service. We have a worship team/live band that combines contemporary christian music and traditional hymns. Our worship service focuses on creating a worship environment where you can actively participate by selecting worship songs that are singable by a congregation followed by preaching that is grounded in scripture. This service is typically 75 minutes in length.
Our evening worship time is set aside for our members and guests that prefer a more traditional service that focuses on hymns sung in the classical style, accompanied by our pianists. This service is typically 60 minutes in length.
Morning Worship: Sundays 11:00 AM
Classic Service Times: Sundays 6:00 PM
Bible Study: Thursdays online 7:00PM (contact church for link)
We have many other activities that occur during the week. Check other pages on this site, and our facebook page for details.
How should I dress?
Our typical attendees dress varies from business casual (most common) to semi-formal (Dress Shirt/Tie/Jacket, Nice Dress). Our priority is more that you come for worship and preaching. For the comfort of all, we request that you wear attire that is in good repair, and modest in appearance.
What will my kids do?
We strive to create environments that are both safe and celebratory of the child’s age and stage of life. Our teachers and staff undergo background checks and regular training and equipping to ensure that the very best care is being provided for the children at all times. We love what we do and the children we get to work with!
Nursery care is provided for children birth – 2 years of age during our Sunday morning worship services.
On Wednesday evenings, we have our AWANA kids program.

Why?
Because being a part of a church community is prescribed in the Bible, and because our group would like you to be a part of our community.
