As a new disciple of Christ, you likely have many questions about living as a Christian man or woman.
Our “Grow” series of articles are intended to help you start.
It was never God’s plan for you to make a go of it on your own. It was for this reason that He instituted the church here on earth.
To be sure, the church is not filled with people who have it all figured out. In fact it should be a warning sign to you when you encounter a church body who seems a little too “perfect”. The church body is a collection of fellow disciples of Christ, who struggle with sin, and desire to live a better life according to God’s word. A support group for sinners you might say!
It is a great place to find mature Christians who have for years studied Gods word, and have endured many of the same trials that you may face. The Lord provided these mature saints to instruct, counsel, encourage, and basically to help you grow in your faith.
Your salvation is NOT dependent on your attendance at church. Your growth as a Christian disciple will be hindered without it.
If you live within a reasonable driving distance of NHHBC, we would like to invite you to join our church family.
